Janina Sajka

Janina Sajka is an internationally recognized standards leader, speaker, and writer. Mentored by leaders in accessibility such as Judy Heumann and Judy Brewer, Janina focuses on developing and evangelizing sustainable, inclusive technology to the benefit of people with any ability.

Ms. Sajka drives standardization in web technologies through the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) where she Co-Chairs the Accessible Platform Architectures (APA) Working Group. From this future-oriented position Janina plays in W3C: (1) Review of all emerging W3C standards; and (2) Develop new technologies where a need is identified. Her keen technical and emotional intelligence guides her in leading many Task Forces including Cognitive and Learning Disabilities, Adapt, Research Questions, Accessibility Maturity, and others. 

Janina's standards work and capabilities were honed as a leader of standardization in Linux/Unix accessibility for which she was named a Linux Foundation Fellow.
