For the first time ever, World IA Day is being held in Bengaluru. This talk will try to understand the Internet architecture socio political contexts from an artistic perspective.

Narendra Raghunath - Senior Faculty Member​, Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bengaluru.
Narendra is visual media artist. Drawing inspiration from oriental philosophy and aesthetics, he locates his art practice in human centric enquiry of social construct and its vulnerabilities. He has been part of many critically acclaimed artistic engagements and exhibitions in India and abroad. There are many published literary works and essays in mainstream news medias and journals to his credit. Before joining Srishti, he has associated with National institute of Design, National School of Interior Design(Saurashtra University), Indira Gandhi Open University and corporate sector for 22 years. He did his Masters in art, design and communication from CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

Arnab Chakravarty - Senior User Experience Designer at Philips Design Bangalore
Arnab Chakravarty is an Interaction Designer who graduated from Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. Prior to that, He finished his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Ahmedabad. He has worked on numerous projects in multi-disciplinary teams throughout India, including building interactive installations in Auroville, simplifying Home Computing for Indian Families, creating videos to educate Truck Drivers in India about HIV AIDS and designing new cooling solutions for Samsung, Korea and has had his work featured in Design Magazines like Kyoorius and has also published papers in international journals like ACM and CHI. 

He is passionate about applying user-centered design methodologies and adopting an interdisciplinary approach towards creating new products, services or future scenarios unique to emerging markets.
