Doug Brams

Doug has been designing usable digital products and services for over 20 years. He is passionate about user research, experience strategy, mobile UIs, and E-commerce. Some of the key user experiences he has touched include T9 text input, Apple iPod, The Weather Channel App, Netscape Browser, AOL Instant Messenger, Nokia Mobile Phones, and the One Page Checkout experience for Home Depot.  
 
Doug is a certified usability analyst (CUA) and received his Honors BS in Psychology (CogSci) from Brown University and his Masters in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. Doug also attended the PhD program in Behavioral Neuroscience at Brandeis University researching human factors in virtual environments at a NASA lab.  
 
Currently, Doug is a UX lead in the Payments space at Home Depot. He also serves on the advisory board for the MHCI program at GA Tech and is an adjunct faculty member for the Masters in user-centered design program at Brandeis University. 
 
Doug is a married, father of three kids. He lives with his family in the Atlanta area. He enjoys playing tennis, challenging his family in Scrabble and video games, and trying all of the great restaurants around Atlanta.
