Jake Tompkins is a first year student in the Master of Library and Information Science program at UCLA. He currently works as a website administrator for his academic advisor and managing digital assets with the Digital Library Program housed inside Young Research Library on campus. With interests somewhere between data science, digital humanities, and UX design, his dream is to combine these interests and find meaningful work in a civic tech space that is driven by social impact.
