Tom has 20+ years’ experience with roots in visual design. A 1991 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, he came up through Boston-area advertising agencies designing web sites and applications for national B2B and eCommerce brands. Tom is a UX Designer for AIR Worldwide, a software development firm in the insurance risk analytics space. Part of his collaborative approach to creating practical design solutions includes mentoring junior UX colleagues, helping to steer them along the guard rails of user-centered design, stressing an empathic approach to task-oriented solutions.
