Anjali Devakumar

Anjali Devakumar is a 1st year Master’s student specializing in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech, exploring the intersections of Computer Science, Psychology, and social responsibility to create inclusive user experiences. At Georgia Tech, she is a research assistant in the Social Wellbeing and Dynamics lab where she is involved in creating mental health technology to aid in Eating Disorder therapy. Anjali is also avidly involved in mentorship and teaching, working for three years as a Peer Mentor/Ambassador for underrepresented groups in Computer Science during her undergrad and as a Teaching Assistant for two undergraduate Computer Science courses at Georgia Tech. In her free time, she loves exploring Atlanta’s music and food scene and volunteering time to help others navigate the graduate school admissions process and encourage other girls to pursue careers in technology.
