Bruce views experience as a service delivery problem: how to combine process, processing, content, and data to serve user needs. He has worked in telecommunications, computing, health insurance, and finance, with side trips into tools for translation and logic.
From 2009 to 2019, he was an organizer for IxDA Northern NJ, facilitating 50 or so sessions. His Toronto connection is that he once worked with Michael Priestley on the conceptual foundations of the OASIS DITA standard.
He has degrees in math and computer science, practices tai chi, and enjoys sailing in small boats. In recent years, he has been English editor for the poetry of Yana Kane and has also edited two books by George Locker on healthy balance.
