Joshua A. Fisher is a Ph.D. student at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he studies how to design augmented, mixed, and virtual reality experiences. He has published in numerous journals on the mechanics and interaction design of virtuality. Outside his research, he teaches classes on communication and culture with a focus on using emerging media for community empowerment. He is currently working on a VR narrative, an MR installation in Malmö, Sweden, and an AR cultural heritage project for Atlanta's West Side community.
