Karen is a Sr. UX Researcher/Designer with The Home Depot. Her focus throughout her career has been to alleviate the burden of users, first as an Instructional Designer and later as a Content Strategist. These interests eventually led her to Iowa State University, where she received an M.S. in Human Computer Interaction. When she can, she enjoys learning yoga, Pilates, and (because she can’t carry a tune in a bucket) learning to play the bass fiddle.
