Sally has been a User Experience professional since the days when it was simply known as “Human Factors”. She has been a Sr. Director of UX for ADP for the past four years. Prior to that, she has held UX leadership roles at Worldpay, The Coca-Cola Company, and NCR. She was also a consultant and instructor for Human Factors International where she may have even taught some of you!
Sally has always been a strong advocate for a User-Centered Design practice that has cross- functional collaboration at its core. She has watched our field expand to include many disciplines and specialties such as User Research, UX Strategy, and of course IA.
Sally went to graduate school at Georgia Tech following graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It was at the U of I where she first learned there is a profession where you can design things based on how people work and think. She’s been hooked ever since.
