Virginia Tucker is assistant professor at the iSchool at San José State, where she teaches courses in IA, information retrieval systems, and human-centered design. Before joining the iSchool faculty, she worked as a product architect in Silicon Valley, the physics librarian at Stanford, and an instructional designer. She has a PhD in information systems from Queensland University of Technology; MLS from University of California at Berkeley; and a BA in music from Stanford University.
