Information architecture and fixing the fashion industry

The fashion and apparel industry in characterized by complex and conventional supply chains. Demand
is increasingly volatile and on supply side the industry is plagued by the Covid crisis, volatility on the raw
material markets, and increasing transit times. Fashion is considered the second most polluting industry.
Insiders believe that “the industry needs to be fixed”. Information along the supply chain must be an
important part of the solution. The talk will discuss the most important stakeholders and their
information needs, as well as new sources of information.
