Facts are not always easy to swallow, that's why our default approach to understand the world is to switch off the lights and live by often gross pre-made assumptions. To break that down and be able to look into the eyes of the uncertain, we need to train the brain muscle in swimming against the tide.
As natural researchers fueled by mystery, we must learn how to be comfortable in getting lost in order to gain an unpredictable sense of direction, to be fully present, and to embrace the constant evolution of our surroundings and ideas. To explore the unknown-unknown, we need to become what I call spring thinkers: elastic inquirers of reality.
